Privacy Policy — Atomic Habits Guide
This privacy policy explains, in plain English, what information Atomic Habits Guide does and does not collect. The short answer is: almost none. This is a static reading site — no accounts, no comments, no forms — so there is very little data in our world to begin with.

Who we are
Atomic Habits Guide is an unofficial, independent reader guide to James Clear's book Atomic Habits. We publish original summaries, explanations and simple habit tools for readers. This policy covers this website only — the pages served from atomichabitsguide.pages.dev — and not any other site you may reach through our links.
A static site, and why that matters for privacy
Most privacy policies are long because most websites collect a great deal. Ours can be shorter because of how this site is built. Atomic Habits Guide is a static website: a fixed set of text and image pages, written in advance and served to your browser exactly as they are. There is no sign-up, no user account, no comments section, no file upload, no shopping cart and no contact form anywhere on the site. Because there is nothing to log into and nothing to submit, there is almost no personal information for us to hold in the first place.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect, store or ask for:
- Your name, postal address or phone number
- Passwords or account credentials of any kind
- Payment or banking details — nothing is sold on this site
- Your precise location
- Files, photos or documents from your device
The only way any personal information reaches us at all is if you choose to send us an email, which is covered below.
Hosting and standard technical logs
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like virtually every hosting provider, its systems automatically handle technical information when your browser requests a page — typically your IP address, browser type, device details and the time of the request. This happens in standard server logs whose purpose is to deliver the site reliably and keep it secure against attacks. It is infrastructure behaviour that comes with putting any website on the internet; we do not use those logs to identify individual readers, build profiles or target anyone, and we never sell data to third parties.
Cookies and tracking
We set no cookies of our own on your device. We run no analytics packages, no advertising trackers and no social-media pixels on this site, so no company is following your reading here on our behalf. If that ever changes — for example, if we one day add basic, privacy-respecting visitor statistics — this policy will be updated before the change takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will change with it.
If you email us
If you write to us at contact@atomichabitsguide.pages.dev, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use that information only to read and reply to you. We do not add you to any mailing list — this site has none — and we never pass your address to advertisers or other third parties. If you would like your email thread with us deleted, simply ask and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our pages link out to other websites: the author's official site, booksellers where you can buy Atomic Habits, and similar sources. Once you follow one of those links, you are on that site's territory and its own privacy policy — not this one — applies. We choose links we believe are reputable, but we are not responsible for how other websites handle your information.
Children's privacy
This is a general-audience educational site about a book on everyday habits. It is not directed at children under 13, and — as explained above — it does not collect personal information from anyone, of any age, through the site itself.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything material in this policy, the revised version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated policy is the one that applies.
Questions about privacy
If anything here is unclear, or you want to ask what we hold about you (almost certainly: just your emails, if you have written to us), contact us through our contact page or by email at contact@atomichabitsguide.pages.dev.
